Pilot Software launches new educational resources to guide
organisations through performance management lifecycle
New tracks help demystify the performance management process
Pilot Software Inc., the original provider of operational
performance management solutions has launched a newly-redesigned
educational resource library, based on an August 2005 poll
of customers, partners and prospects. With the need for straightforward
performance management education revealed as the top finding
in the survey, Pilot redesigned its educational resources
in three, intuitive tracks: Get Started, Build it Out and
Sustain Performance.
With many performance management projects already languishing,
the goal of Pilot’s newly redesigned educational resources
is to prevent organisations from creating unrealistic expectations
resulting in delayed schedules and intangible benefits.
“As more and more vendors jump on the performance
management bandwagon, organisations inevitably have become
overwhelmed
with propaganda,” said Jonathan D. Becher, CEO and
president of Pilot Software. “As the original performance
management vendor — with both the first-ever commercial
and most developed U.S. federal agency implementations under
its belt — we felt it was our duty to lend that experience
in support of the real customer challenges of navigating
the entire performance management lifecycle.”
Pilot’s free educational resource library, containing
industry articles, white papers, recommended books and Web
seminars, is available now at www.pilotsoftware.com/resources.
