ISSEL GeoCountry Architecture
ISSEL GeoCountry is a Windows 32 program created in Visual
Basic 6. It includes a RIPE
Whois database from Maxmind.
Issel GeoCountry integrates directly with the Pilot HitList
database using either a file path (Access 2000) or an ODBC
connection (SQL Server).
IP-addresses are processed at a typical rate of 100 per second
with a regular desktop PC (500MHz). Issel GeoCountry puts
minimum requirements on RAM and hard disk.
